Country Coach Prevost Coaches for Sale
7 coaches available
Country Coach was founded in 1973 in Junction City, Oregon, and through the 1990s and early 2000s became one of the most recognizable luxury motorcoach names in the country. A financial restructuring during the 2008–2009 recession significantly changed the company’s operations, and large-scale new-coach production wound down. More recently, Matt and Elaina Carr have reformed Country Coach, with a campus in Eugene, Oregon that holds exclusive rights to the original fiberglass molds and drawings. They describe themselves as the only certified service center in the world for Country Coach diesel pushers. Today’s Country Coach business is focused on parts, service, renovations, and upgrades for existing owners. On the used market, Country Coach Prevost-built, mostly XL and XLII chassis from the early to mid-2000s, remain popular for their solid build quality and rivet-coach construction.

Common Questions About Country Coach
Used Country Coach Prevost XL and XLII coaches usually range from around $150,000 for early-2000s single-slide builds up to $500,000+ for mid-2000s XLII triple-slides in exceptional condition. Most 2003–2006 XLII double-slides trade between $200,000 and $400,000. What moves the price: mileage, service history, interior condition, and whether major systems (drivetrain, HVAC, generator) have been serviced or refreshed. Country Coach tends to price more accessibly than comparable builds from the current premier converters, which is a big part of why they're popular entry points. See the listings above for current asking prices.
Historically, Country Coach built on Prevost's XL and XLII platforms; the 40-foot and 45-foot shells that were standard through the 2000s. From 2006 on, Prevost introduced the X3-45 to replace the XLII, and the H3-45 touring-height chassis continued as the high-profile option. Older Country Coach Prevost builds can be on XL, XLII, H3-45, or other chassis variants; always check the build sheet for specifics. Country Coach also built on non-Prevost platforms during its history, so not every "Country Coach" on the used market is a Prevost conversion.
